How to make Kultyas
- Beat the eggs until well blended without streaks of white.

Sarciado is a type of cooking where tomatoes are sauteed in oil with onions, garlic, and seasonings until softened and release juice. Eggs, fried fish or meat, and fermented black beans can be added to extend servings and for another layer of flavor, such as in cardillong isda and bangus sa tausi.
How to serve and store
- Serve kultyas as the main entree or a hearty side dish for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It's delicious paired with steamed rice or sinangag and fried fish or meat such as daing na bangus, beef tapa, chicken tocino, pork longganisa, inihaw na liempo, or toyomansi pork chops.
- To store leftovers, allow them to cool and transfer them to an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to 3 days. Ginisang kamatis does not freeze well; it turns mushy and watery when frozen and thawed.
- Reheat in a wide pan to 165 F or in the microwave at 1 to 2-minute intervals, stirring well between intervals to redistribute heat.
